In July, Ifechukwude Rex Omameh become the youngest president in his club’s history and also the first president of color in more than 35 years at the Rotary Club of Blouberg, South Africa. Prior to being nominated for the presidency, Omameh actively led his Rotaract Club and orchestrated district-wide events including a hunger drive and an annual PolioPlus fundraiser. Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are a passion for President Gary's 2023-24 Rotary year. Contributions of $100 from club members to join his President's Club will benefit the GALA Pride & Diversity Center.
